Luna Twilight Makeup Reviews

I can finally find some times to post this up, I actually got these for awhile already but haven't got a chance to actually use it... I got these from Nordstrom Rack for $10 , while Original Price is $28 on their website

The reason that I purchased these is because well.. uno numero it's "TWILIGHT" makeup, and the packaging looks amazing.... let's cut the talking n go straight to the review eh!!!

First item: Team Edward Color Palette
To be honest, I didn't want to get this palette at first, because I'm more of a Team Jacob haha, but the Jacob palette was sold out... so suxxxxxxxxxx for me.. aniwaiz
As u can see this palette comes wit 4 eyeshadows and a lip gloss, here are the swatches
+I would say only the top 2 eyeshadow colors ( silver and black) are the most pigmented. Note: the black color has quite big junky glitter
+the bottom 2 are very light n barely show up on my skin -___- they only show like a very light tint of pink and blue, which for me would be a good everiday color, but if u don't like light and shimmery colors then this is not for u
+ The gloss probably the most disappointment, it does looks like a very cute coral lip color in the pan, but it does not show up whatsoever. All it does is give u the shine wit a bit of glitter

Color Palette: Alice

This palette came with 2 glosses, 2 eyeshadows and a blush
I donno why the blush came out looking more coral, but it actuallie pink -__- see the reflection in the mirror, that's more true to color"... and here are the swatches
+Again, the glosses do not show up, they just came out clear wit maybe very little color... BIG disappointment, because the color in the pan are just beautiful... -__- but they have a finer glitter than the one in the Edward palette.
+The silver color is still the most pigmented color and quite beautiful, the blueish tone eyeshadow on the bottom also very pretty, just that the texture is "WEIRD", it seems like there will be alot of fall outs, and it just wont stick to the skin. As u can see they're both shimmer eyeshadows
+ The blush is the most beautiful, pigmented and smoothest texture in this palette, and i absolutely in love wit it. It is a matte color, and it is a hot pink color blush.

Mortal Glow Blushing Creme: Adrenaline
It looks totally amazing isn;t it =D this is the item that I was most curious about in this whole Twilight makeup
This picture doesn't even do it any justice, u should see it in person. It has a combination of gold, coral and purple colors, which would give it a warm and cool pinks blended.
To be honest I was a bit disappointed, because comparing to how it look in the pan, it came out not so pigmented.  And there is wayyy too much glitter, that it reminded me of Jacob from Twilight  hahaha well it's Twilight makeup for ya.

I promise u this will make u glow like a disco ball XD it has a name of "Mortal Glow" for a reason

Overall I would give this line 2 out of 5 bunnies... just because... please read the reasons above

In case ur curious or interested in these items, u can check them out at their website at http://twilightbeauty.com

Review: Smashbox HeartBreaker Eyeshadow palettes

So I bought these palettes quite awhile ago at Nordstrom Rack for $16.97 each
To be honest with u, I don't really like Smashbox products, I had the Tokidoki for Smashbox collection for awhile and I wasn't very happy wit the pigmentation of them at all. The only reason I decided to get both the Tokidoki ones and this Heartbreaker ones just because of the packagings (they have very nice sexy design on the box *wink wink*)

Here are the swatches and pics of the palettes itself

Each palette include 6 colors and a small eyeshadow brush
as u can see it's a very sleek white pearl package wit "smashbox" and lip imprinted on it

This is the "kiss 'N Tell" palette
  • These are all shimmer colors, except the black one come out matte even though I do see little shimmer from the palette
  • This 1 probablie has the most pigmented from the 2, the light coral pink on the right corner (have the least pigment as u can see, it has a massive amount of shimmer, but it is a perfect color for korean natural makeup looks ^-^)
  • Have very fine shimmer

 The "Hot Date" Palette
  • This probablie is considered more of a neutral palette
  • It has a combination of both shimmer and matte (which is the 1st "nude" and 6th "taupe" color counted from left to right)
  • the matte color seem to be the least pigmented
  • the nude color on the left corner came out very chalky, which I find very hard to work with
  • The shimmer ones have very fine shimmer, except the ocean blue one have more chunky glitter

Overall, I do love these palette, u can make a lot of looks with them
I have to say that they are way more pigmented than the Tokidoki for Smashbox palettes that I owned, They are also quite silky and easy to work wit except some of the color I listed above.
I haven't used the brush, so I cant say aniting about it, but it seem pretty soft. I might just use it for a touch up since it so small it good for corners.

The size of the palette is quite small and light weight, which is excellent for traveling, it a definitely a plus

I would give it a 4 out of 5 Bunnies!!!! ^-^

Welcome to Vietnam =D & the city by nite

The moment I walked off the plane, I can already feel the heat from the outside. Good thing the first week I was there it started raining so it wasn't as bad as I thought it will be.

If u ever been to vietnam, u know the best city EVER (in vn i mean) would be Ho Chi Minh City or some people would prefer Saigon City,

and the best time to be out in the city would be at nite
Here I'm actually sitting on a rooftop Cafe looking toward down town HCM city
Here is one of the nicest shopping mall in the city Diamond Plaza (in downtown)

or u can also go out after 5 pm when the sun is setting
it's much cooler at the time
(trust me u wont wanna be outside at 12 -4 pm, u;ll be frying)
Talking about nite time, u cant miss out on eating n KARAOKE
man now I totally forgot  to take picture of the karaoke places that I went to
Trust me, they have some of the nicest karaoke spots here in the city
and of course have to mention the cafe shop there
I actually went to many coffee shops there, but only able to take pic of 1 (sowie again)
this is in District 10
