Happy Valentine Day!!!

How was everyone's Valentine day? did u all had a sweet one? cuse I know I did ^-^

I know some of u might hate me for this but I had quite a blast last night with my bf.  We went to eat at E&O Trading co. which is an Asian American fusion bar restaurant.

We went to the same place last year and we just loved the place so much that we had to come back this year.

Sadly I have to say there are many changes which disappointed us so badly. First of all is the food.

what we had are:

drinks: tiger's paw and Mangopolitan
I had this Mangopolitan drink almost every single time I visit the place, so u can already tell that it's my favorite mixed drink there. But I donno what is wrong with the bartender this time, maybe it's a different guy I didn't paid attention, the drink came out totally not as I remembered it. There way too much alcohol (in both of our drink), which i wouldn't mind if it a shot drink, but this is a cocktail for ... whoever shake.....

 this is our appetizer: pineapple salmon • wild king salmon and pineapple soy

it was okay... not much comment on it... we felt it's a bit too.. "smoky"

Ahi Tartar:  ahi tuna, lemongrass puree, scallion oil and sesame wontons

I had the same thing at Chesecake factory before and I'm telling u.... go straight to cheesecake factory because it's way better there.  First of all, I know this is Asian fusion but... wth is with the wonton. It doesn't taste good with the fish O_O

the fish itself is a bit flavorless and way too many onions leaves

 duck imperial rolls • thai basil, star anise and spicy plum sauce

we also have this dish everytime we were there, the plum sauce been the best , it was still the best this time, but there's sometin in the roll that isn't as great... u can barely tell that there's duck in it -___-

The worst that we had that nite is actually the Chicken Pad Thai, I didn't even bother to take a picture.  It was way too salty and why do they have to have so many Onions in there -___-


Now u all probably wondering why did I complained too much and still said that I enjoyed the valentine day... well the reason was I got some unexpected gifts from my bf....

can u guess??


Yes yes yes, he got me a whole bunch of Rock and Republic blushes and eyeshadows O_O

 and who can miss some chocolate on valentine day... these are all my Japanese favorites chocolate from him <3333333333
